VIP Docent Tours
Experience an unforgettable and immersive view of our permanent collection and special exhibitions with a private VIP docent tour. Guests skip the lines and are led by their own expert docent for a customized tour, offering an insider’s view of the museum and unique opportunities to enjoy the art on view.
Reservations for private VIP docent tours are available for Truth and Beauty: The Pre-Raphaelites and the Old Masters (form available here), and are currently available for our permanent collection. Tours can be arranged for individuals and groups of up to 10 people, and are usually an hour long. Tours must be reserved at least four weeks in advance and are $300 per tour. To book, call Group Sales at 415.750.3620 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Audio tours of the Legion's permanent collection are available from Antenna Audio. The audio tour is designed in collaboration with the museum's curators to enhance your visit to the Legion of Honor. Prices are $8 general, $7 members. The tour is free to visually impaired visitors, and a large-print script of the tour is available free of charge to hearing impaired visitors. Visitors may purchase tours at the museum or online with ticket purchases.
Audio tours are also available for most major special exhibitions at the Legion of Honor. Special exhibition audio tours are $8 general, $7 members.
