We are excited to welcome donors back to the Legion of Honor with our exclusive Donor Preview Day on October 27. The Legion of Honor, San Francisco’s most beautiful museum, presents an impressive collection of ancient and European art that spans 4,000 years, in an unforgettable setting overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
Built to commemorate California soldiers who died in World War I, the Legion of Honor is a beautiful neoclassical building located in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park, looking out over the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. Its collections include Auguste Rodin’s The Thinker, which sits in the museum’s Court of Honor, as well as European paintings, decorative arts, and sculpture; ancient art; and one of the largest collections of prints and drawings in the country.
Donor Preview Day is available to donors at the Fellow level and above, Legacy Society members, Business Council members, and exhibition and programs sponsors. Complimentary timed tickets are required and we encourage you to use your membership number to book these online in advance and ensure you can visit at the most convenient time for you.
