Members, thank you for your continued support throughout our reopening of the Legion of Honor. Timed tickets for Member and Donor Preview Days are now sold out.
The Legion of Honor, San Francisco’s most beautiful museum, presents an impressive collection of ancient and European art that spans 4,000 years, in an unforgettable setting overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
Built to commemorate California soldiers who died in World War I, the Legion of Honor is a beautiful neoclassical building located in San Francisco’s Lincoln Park, looking out over the Pacific Ocean, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco. Its collections include Auguste Rodin’s The Thinker, which sits in the museum’s Court of Honor, as well as European paintings, decorative arts, and sculpture; ancient art; and one of the largest collections of prints and drawings in the country.
Timed tickets for Member and Donor Preview Days at the Legion of Honor are sold out, but members are invited to reserve General Admission tickets during regular museum hours (Tuesday–Sunday, 9:30 am–5:15 pm).
