K–12 Students

The Fine Arts Museums' School Programs enable students to make connections and develop an understanding of art in both creative and historical contexts. The programs described below offer a vast array of experiences ranging from independent viewing to facilitated visits with docents, museum artists, poets and the Museum Ambassadors. All guided programs provide opportunities for students to work directly with ideas, interpretation and communication in the gallery and/or artist studio. Instruction is based on core strategies that cultivate personal and academic skills with the goal of igniting student curiosity.

All school programs are offered FREE of charge, though some programs require a refundable deposit, which will be returned upon your arrival at the museum.
